HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKOLAI FRAITURE!
You are my favorite number today!
I just learned I was in the city the day of the Harry Potter premire and I could have seen Daniel Radcliffe in all his dinosaur glory. Fuck. I missed out. Fucking AAR.
I went to the city around 2 pm and on the train there my mother called saying the tickets had come in the mail that day! So I had called Ticketmaster and complained and shit and yeah.
But it all turned out for the best, it was the second time I waited outside the roseland, this time we were much closer to the doors and it wasn't raining or nearly as cold.
I handed out Green Day stickers because they had sent me about 2 bricks one pound each. Alot of youngins really dig Green Day, and alot of scenesters wanted to rip my fucking face off.
Many parents were like 'Can I have some?' and I was like 'Sure!' and they'd be like 'three please.'
Some lucky kids have their parents wait in line for them when they go to get food and shit. I have really tolerant parents but I have NEVER waited in line at a concert with them, not even for Hanson.
We, as in Nicole and I (Rory went walking around and didn't really talk to us) chilled with some Suffolk girls who were amazed that we trecked all the way from Trumbull, Connecticut to come to a Rejects show. I never really thought about it being a long trip, but I suppose an hour long train ride is a bit long.
We get in I go to the ticket booth and I'm prepared to be shot down, but all I did was show my license, the guy pulls out an envelope and there they are! Three over priced All American Reject tickets, WOOOP.
We get in and get decent spots for the Academy IS... (too fucking skinny. SHIT!)
Rooney followed, at this point rory had left Nicole and I to fend for ourselves. I kept screaming 'THE PRINCESS DIARIES!' and 'Your Brother is HOT!' which was followed by nods and laughs from Nicole.
And when AAR came out, all hell broke loose, or at least all pushing and shoving, nothing as bad as MUSE or my first mosh pit but the best word to describe it was sticky. That's so WRONG and I am so glad I have SHORT hair, so glad.
Once the story, scratch that, CONCERT ended we walked out, or rather shuffled out, Nicole and Rory down to Coat Check and I to Merch.
The whole time I spent waiting in line to get my RISE TO FALL TOUR 2005 poster was futile because I was told we'd miss the train if we didn't leave at that SECOND!
We missed the train.
But as you probably have guessed, we still got home safely. Just to note: I had to drive to and from the train station because Rory was afraid of spiders.
Today I woke up around 11, had breakfast then 12:30 went to the mall with Kat, tapped out all my funds:
Purchased:
Sweater-$20 Food-$3 Bath and Body Works Mesh Sponge-$2 OC Mix 5 (For my dad pour Christmas)-$13.99 Peter Gallagher's Record 'Seven Days to Memphis'-$15.99
I have no money.
Then I saw SAW II with Shany, paid for the ticket via debit.
It sucked.
The end.
LOVE.
